Habbo Canada - RPG Training Area

Now Habbo Canada has their own version of Star Wars Role Plays. We will not worry with that though. Habbo is a 3D Online Enviroment, my File Uzamaki has enough furni to make several rooms.

Since so many people can be with each other and chat at once it would be a good place to train groups of people how to roleplay at the same time.

Now we will still Role Play on here. This is just a place we can more easily teach people how to.

Note: If we agree to do this It will only take me a couple hours to set up which will be easy during Thanksgiving Weekend.

I feel that the need for a RPG teacher is much more needed than some other program. Like if we set up forums to help newbies like simple RPGs then Medium and Hard ones to get them use to it. But whatever works best I guess.

That would work... But than all we need are willing teachers.

I feel that if we go esay, medium,hard in forums for newb's than one of them should be an ongoing, unending story. Much like an actual novel, the story would jump around, incorporating all of the character interaction. This would give us a good idea of what level of role-play each person is at, and so how better to help the ones that need the help

Leave that choice for the instructors. When they teach a newcomer one on one they can decide how to proparly train them. But if their are more students than teachers we'll just assign a couple to one.

If it were allowed I would volunteer to be a RPG teacher when I have time.

I have been on Habbo, not canada but Usa. I have furni for a room and if most of you remember Black Bear tavern i have ACTUALLY built it there, it was my training and some insperation for my combine stuff. I think that Duvnar is right that this is could be used as a training program, then there is also training for other things like live online Roleplaying, once you learn how to Rp on forums you will be just a step closer to being able to Live Rp on other things over the internet.

Once again i think duvnar has found a great source of practice for some.

OK but everyone else seems to have come from learning by experience with people who have spent time teaching on the same webite/forums whatever. It would be a shame to teach them any other way other than the most of us have. Anyway it would end up us having too much stuff when we could all do it here.

If we get some more support we probebly will allow Habbo as an option.

Personally though I think we should offer both. Mostly because you can interact and such on Habbo and on the fourms it will be very hard to teach someone.

You don't have my vote but I'm sure others will like it. I rate this as a 4 neutral response I don't like it but its not that bad.

The biggest, and only problem I see is Combine is a storytelling type game that relies heavilly on the imagination, and Habbo offers visual aid removing the need for a good imagination, this could be hard to teach newbies to role play in the Combine universe.

Which is why I don't support it, but I can live with it if it is chosen.

It's just where we will teach. I have Furni to make it as if it's a classroom. I assure you I can easily make it so the student's can learn. And with Noj going on .com and all he'd also be able to teach the students on habbo well if he wishes.

Of course I will go with what ever you decide bossman. I was just voicing my concerns.
